Prestigious Ekushey Padak-winning actor, playwright and director Abul Hayat turns 75 today. DhakaLive has news that the veteran actor never keeps any type of shooting in his schedule on his birthday. However, Abul Hayat will participate in the celebrity talk show ‘Taroka Alap’ live on RTV at 10:40am today.  After that, he will spend the rest of the day with his family members at his home. Interestingly, Abul Hayat shares birthday with his granddaughter Shrisha, and they will celebrate the occasion together.

Abul Hayat said about his birthday, “So many years of my life have gone in the blink of an eye. I am satisfied with the things I have achieved so far. My happy world is surrounded by my wife Shirin, our daughters Bipasha and Natasha and their husbands Tauquir and Shahed, and also my grandchildren. As a father, I am a very happy man. With everyone’s love and blessings, I want to spend the rest of my life.” The veteran actor shared an interesting event about his birthday. Apparently, Abul Hayat has two birthdays. When little Abul Hayat got admitted in school, the headmaster reduced his age in the certificate. The incident resulted him to have two birthdays—one is genuine and the other one is academic. According to his certificate, his birth date is June 25. Because of this, many fans and well-wishers greet him mistakenly on this day also. To note, Abul Hayat received the National Film Award in 2008, while in 2015, the actor was awarded with the esteem Ekushey Padak.
