They made the call at a function arranged for distribution of prizes of an essay competition organized in observance of the National Mourning Day-2018 and 43rd martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The BRUR authority organised the essay competition on “Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman: Student Life and Political Thought” participated by students of different departments under all six faculties.

Professor Dina said the Bengali nation achieved independence following life-long struggles, unparallel contribution and sacrifice of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

“The BRUR authority organised the essay contest for all students of the institution, to spread the ideology of Bangabandhu so that every student could acquire full knowledge about the political life of the great leader,” she said Professor Parimal said Bangabandhu had taken many epoch-making, visionary and revolutionary steps during the post-liberation period to turn Bangladesh into a ‘Sonar Bangla’ by restructuring the war-torn country.
