Kuwait keen to recruit skilled manpower

GAZIPUR: A visiting Kuwait military delegation yesterday expressed interest to hire more skilled and technical personnel from Bangladesh armed forces. A 4-member high level delegation of Kuwait armed forces, led by head of administration and manpower department of Kuwait Armed Forces Major General Ebrahim SSS Al Ameery, PSC, expressed their interest during a visit at the Trust Technical Training Institute (TTTI) in Gazipur, operated by Bangladesh Army, on Monday. Principal of TTTI Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Asadur Rahman Khan welcomed the delegation when they reached the TTTI campus.   Later, he briefed the delegation about their activities at the conference room of the institute. The Kuwait team also visited the training activities of TTTI situated on Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory campus at Shimoltoli in Gazipur city. They team expressed their satisfaction and praised the training programmes.
Team leader major general Ebrahim SSS Al Ameery PSC said, “We found that the institute is providing training with sincerity to build highly skilled manpower. We are trying to recruit them to Kuwait Armed Force”. The delegation will visit various sections of Bangladesh Army and will try to develop mutual relation between the two countries. They team will leave Bangladesh for Kuwait on September 18. The others members of the delegation were Lieutenant Colonel Fahad AMM Al Dalbi, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Al Bashri, Lieutenant Colonel Magid Al Khaledi.  Defense attaché of Bangladesh in Kuwait Brigadier General Nasimul Ghani, vice principal of TTTI major (retd) Shamolendu Kabiraj, senior officials of Bangladesh Army and TTTI were present during the visit.
