Two unidentified people including, a woman, were killed after coming under trains in two separate incidents in the capital yesterday, reports BSS. The two incidents took place in Khilgaon and Khilkhet areas in the capital on Sunday night and yesterday morning respectively.
“An unidentified woman, 28, got seriously injured after coming under train in Khilgaon area last night. She was declared dead by attending doctors at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH),” said officer in-charge of Kamalapur Railway Police Station Yasin Faruk.
In another incident, an around fourteen-year-old boy came under Tista Express in Khilkhet area as he tried to cross the level crossing hastily around 8.50am yesterday, said the police officer.
Both the bodies were sent to the DMCH morgue for post-mortem examinations, the Kamalapur Railway Police OC added.
Two cases of unnatural deaths were filed with the respective police stations in connection with the accidents, he added.
