Six envoys presented their credentials to President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban yesterday, reports UNB. The envoys present in the credential ceremony were: Ambassadors of Croatia and Venezuela, and High Commissioners of Guyana, Namibia, Nigeria and Zambia to Bangladesh. The envoys are: Petar Ljubicic of Croatia, Augusto Montiel of Venezuela, David Goldwin Pollard of Guyana, Pius Dunaiski of Namibia, Maj Gen (Retd) ChrisSundayEze of Nigeria and Judith Kasashi K. Kangoma-Kapijimpanga of Zambia.
President Hamid welcomed the envoys as they reached the president house, President's Press Secretary Mohammad Joynal Abedin told UNB after the ceremony.
"Bangladesh always gives priority to the expansion of the bilateral and multilateral relations in the field of trade and investment. The bilateral and multi-lateral relations with these countries will further be expanded during their assignments here," President hoped.
