UNB

Faridpur: A leopard was beaten to death by the locals at Ghopghat Dakkhinpara village in Madhukhali upazila early Tuesday, reports UNB.

Villagers said the leopard stormed into the cowshed of one of the residents of the village at dawn and swooped on a goat.

Hearing the sounds of the two animals scuffling during the attack, the owner of the cowshed and his family members rushed into the shed with big powerful sticks and thrashed the big cat till it died on the spot.
