Advance train tickets for Eid begins Sept 15

Bangladesh Railway will start selling advance tickets from September 15 to facilitate holidaymakers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. “The selling of advance rail tickets will being on September 15 and continue till September 19. Besides, the selling of return tickets will start on September 23 and continue till September 27,” said Railway Minister Mazibul Hoque at a press conference in the city’s Rail Bhaban yesterday. The tickets for September 20 journey will be sold on September 15 and tickets for September 21 on September 16, tickets for September 22 on September 17, tickets for September 23 on September 18 and tickets for September 24 will be available at Dhaka and Chittagong stations on September 19, the minister said. The return tickets for the journey of September 27 to October 1 will be sold on September 23 to September 27 which will be available at Rajshahi, Khulna, Rangpur, Dinajpur and Lalmonirhat stations, Mujibul Haque said. “The selling of ticket will begin at 9:00am everyday and one person can buy a maximum of four tickets,” he added.
