Sanowar Hossain, chief medical officer and director, Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, has been appointed as the member Bio-Science (Current Charge) of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC), a press statement said yesterday.
He joined Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission on March 1 in 1990 as a medical officer.
He obtained postgraduate diploma in nuclear medicine from Institute of Nuclear Medicine, under University of Dhaka and FRCP from Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh, UK. He has also received IAEA fellowship training from North Western University Hospital, Chicago, USA, Royal Brisben Hospital, Australia, Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai, Fukuka University Hospital, Japan.
