Seminar on Business Process Held

Office of the Brand and Communications, Canadian University of Bangladesh, organised a seminar on ‘Business Process’ at its Banani campus recently. The aim of the seminar was to help students in understanding the business process, and realise what’s going on around them, and to do something about it. A group of visiting teachers and students from South Point School and College attended the seminar February 17, says a press release.

In a keynote speech, William H Derrenger, Dean, School of Business, said the business process is a framework that allows individuals to find their place in society. It operates on the basis of helping each of us achieve our functional purpose by learning what we need to know in order the do useful work. Useful work is any work that helps other people solve their problems and live better as a result. We are rewarded for the useful work we do. We use these rewards to make a better, safer and healthier life for ourselves, he said.
