SAFF tourney in Dhaka in Apr

South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) will busy with their hectic schedule of different programmes this year on the field and off the field.

The first programme of the SAFF was set for their congress and the election to be held April in Bangladesh followed the by the draw of SAFF Championship football will be held on April 18.

The SAFF Championship was scheduled to be held in September while the SAFF Under-18  and SAFF Under-15 women football championship will also be organised this year.

Anwarul Haque Helal, general secretary of the SAFF informed yesterday that, the SAFF will take place in Dhaka, as the schedule of the SAFF has already been fixed but the schedule and the hosts of the age group competitions of Under-18 and women’s Under-15 yet to be finalized.

Helal, former general secretary of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) also informed that they strictly directed by the FIFA and the AFC to organise the women’s competition regularly and they (SAFF) will organised the women’s competition every year and the men’s every alternative year.        

Meanwhile, the Under-15 women’s football team have been taking preparation to play in an invitational football tournament in Hong Kong in March.
