Woman’s body recovered from Buriganga

KERANIGANJ: Police recovered the decomposed floating body of a young woman from the Buriganga River in Hasnabad area of the upazila on Tuesday, reports UNB. The identity of the woman, aged about 30, could not be known yet, said sub-inspector (SI) Abdur Rahim of Dakhshin Keraniganj Police Station. Being informed by locals on Monday night that a woman's body was floating in the river, police recovered it from near Montu Mia Dockyard on Tuesday morning. Later, the body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, the SI added.
