Professional clubs advised to follow AFC guidelines

AFC advised to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) to abide by the guideline of the Asian football authority as two of the AFC representatives have been visiting BFF for last three days to evaluate their activities.

In a press meet yesterday at the BFF Bhaban, Yogesh Desai, one of the representatives from AFC while talking to the media said, “To be honest there is nothing significant but we identified some of the weak or poor sides and we are trying to help them to develop the areas.”

The representatives, specially talking about what will be role of executive body to develop the different department of football and the structures of the professional football clubs here and indicated that five sectors to develop and also strictly instructed that the clubs must have the AFC license to play in the AFC competitions while also made it mandatory for all the professional clubs to have the license to play the domestic league also.

Meanwhile, Abu Nayeem Shohag general secretary of BFF disclosed about the distribution of 290 tickets for the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018, when he said that BFF has already made a six-member committee to justify who deserves to buy tickets.
