BNP busy with conspiracies: Workers Party

BSS

Leaders of Workers Party of Bangladesh (WPB) yesterday said BNP doesn't want to take part in the next parliament elections as the party is now busy in hatching conspiracies to foil the polls, reports BSS. They made the remark while speaking at a meeting of WPB politburo marking the grand rally of the party on March 3 at Suhrawardy Udyan, said a release here. Presiding over by party President and Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon, the meeting was addressed, among others, by General Secretary Fazle Hossain Badsha, politburo members Bimal Biswas, Nurul Hasan, Dr Sushanto Das, Mahmudul Hasan Manik, Nur Ahmed Bakul, Iqbal Kabir Jahid, Hazera Sultana, Kamrul Ahsan and Advocate Mustafa Luthfullha.

Urging the party men to remain alert, the WPB leaders said BNP wants to create an unstable situation centering the verdict of Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case. They also urged all to be united in the greater interest of the country, the release added.
