Appellate Division Justice Mirza Hussain Haider yesterday said that golden Bangladesh could be been shaped within one second if all persons had performed their duties properly. “If all persons from president to cleaner perform their duty accordingly, the Bangladesh will be turned into a golden country in one second. One second is enough to form golden Bangladesh, if everyone performs their due duty,” the Appellate Division justice made the comment while addressing as chief guest at a programme at the Supreme Court auditorium in the capital.

He urged the Mymensingh people to make their contribution to transform Bangladesh into a dreamland from now on. Greater Mymensingh Supreme Court Lawyers Welfare Association (GMSCLWA) organised the programme where High Court Division Justices Nuruzzaman Noni, KM Quamrul Quader, Mostafa Zaman Islam, Md Badruzzaman, Md Jahangir Hossain and Amir Hossain also addressed among others.

GMSCLWA president Advocate AKM Fazlul Haque Khan presided over the programme while its secretary Shah Monjurul Hoque conducted the event.

In his speech Advocate Shah Monjurul Hoque mentioned the names of many notable persons including Joynul Abedin, Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani and Sukumer Roy, who were born in greater Mymensingh and contributed to many sectors of the country. Hoque urged the Mymensingh people to make their effort to contribute to the development of the nation. He said that the GMSCLWA would arrange training programme for the newly enrolled lawyers to improve their skill so that they could make good lawyers in the legal arena in future.
