Girl’s body found in suitcase

Gazipur: Police recovered the body of an unidentified girl from a suitcase at a bus stand of Chandna intersection on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway early yesterday, reports UNB.

Officer-in-Charge of Jaidebpur Police Station Aminur Islam said local people spotted a black luggage that was left abandoned at the bus stand and informed police.

Later, police recovered the body of an apparently 20 to 22 years old girl from the suitcase along with some clothes, he added. Primarily, police are suspecting that the girl was strangled to death.
