UNB

A Bangladeshi expatriate has been killed after a speedy vehicle knocked him down while chasing a gang of robbers at Al-Kharj, some 77 kms off capital Riyadh, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Main Uddin Shah Alam, 35, son of late Hazi Shah Alam, hailing from Gobindapur village in Burichang upazila.

Family sources said a group of hoodlums looted valuables from a shop owned by Main Uddin at Al-Kharj on Tuesday night.

When the miscreants were fleeing with the booty, he started chasing them.

At one stage, a bus hit the Bangladeshi expatriate, leaving him injured.

Later, he was taken to King Khalid University Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
