3 bodies recovered

OUR CORRESPONDENT, Patuakhali

Police recovered three bodies from different areas of Patuakhali district yesterday.

A rickshaw puller’s body was recovered from beside the residence of one Dofadar Bari, of Nazirpur village in Bauphal upazila of Patuakhali district yesterday morning.

The deceased was identified as Parvez, 14, son of-Dualal Dalal of village Khajurbaria village in the upazila.

Azam Khan Faruki, officer-in-charge of Bauphal police station said electric wire was entangled on his neck.

Meanwhile, police also recovered the body of housewife Khaleda Begum, 20, from Birpasha village in Konokdia upazila yesterday. The reason behind her death was not known immediately. Police sent the bodies to Patuakhali Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Earlier, police recovered hanging body of a student of Polytechnic College from Arambag area in the district town. The deceased was identified as Uzzal Mandol, 23, 7th semester student of Patuakhali Polytechnic College.

Police sources said being informed by the locals Patuakhali sadar thana police recovered the student’s body from a students’ mess in Arambag area of the district town. Police sent the body to Patuakhali Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Three separate unnatural death cases were registered with the police stations.
