PM asks for sending relief to Myanmar

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday directed the authorities concerned to immediately send emergency relief assistance for the flood-hit people of Myanmar, reports UNB. The emergency relief assistance includes lifesaving medicines and kits, water purification tablets, blankets and tents, according to a PM's Press Wing media note. It said the emergency relief goods will be shipped to Naypyidaw by Biman Bangladesh Airlines at the earliest.
