3 yaba ‘traders’ arrested

CHITTAGONG: Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP)) in three separate raids arrested three alleged yaba traders with 1,040 pieces of contraband yaba tablets from Shah Amanat Bridge area under Bakalia thana in the port city Tuesday night. The arrestees were identified as Abdul Kader, 40, Mohammad Ali, 25, Nure Alam, 50. On receipt of secret information, a team of Bakalia thana police raided three passenger buses at Shah Amanat Bridge area under Bakalia thana in the port city on Tuesday night and arrested them with the yaba tablets, Mohammad Mohosin, officer in charge of Bakalia police said. Separate cases were filed in this connection.
